Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe

The OSCE’s commitment to promote the role and the inclusion of youth in its peace and security agenda dates back to its founding document, the Helsinki Final Act, and has been strengthened through many subsequent OSCE decisions.

OSCE Mission to Serbia

The Mission to Serbia works with institutions and young people to bolster their skills in addressing discrimination that vulnerable groups of young men and women are facing. It supports inclusive youth policies and their thorough implementation throughout Serbia.

OSCE Presence in Albania

The Presence in Albania promotes education on democracy by engaging youth with institutions, such as parliament and the local authorities. In addition, it encourages Albania’s young people to participate in regional youth exchanges.

The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC)

An all-inclusive, regionally owned and led cooperation framework. This framework engages RCC participants from the South East Europe (SEE), members of the international community and donors on subjects which are important and of interest to the SEE, with a view to promoting and advancing the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of the region.

Regional Youth Co-operation Office (RYCO)

An independently functioning institutional mechanism, founded by the Western Balkans 6 participants (WB 6): Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia, aiming to promote the spirit of reconciliation and cooperation between the youth in the region through youth exchange programs.

Western Balkans Fund (WBF)

Established in the framework of the Berlin Process, it has a following mission: Promotion of regional cooperation and cohesion, integration in the European Union and common presentation in third parties. WBF aims at strengthening “people-to-people” contacts in areas such as culture, education, research, environment, cross-border cooperation and youth, etc.

European Youth Forum (YFJ)

The platform of youth organisations in Europe, representing 104 youth organisations, both National Youth Councils and International Non-Governmental Youth Organisations.

As a hub of best practice, resources and policy intelligence, youthpolicy.org provides an initial step into the world of youth research, policy and rights.

The Youth Department of Council of Europe

The Department elaborates guidelines, programmes and legal instruments for the development of coherent and effective youth policies at local, national and European levels. It provides funding and educational support for international youth activities aiming to promote youth citizenship, youth mobility and the values of human rights, democracy and cultural pluralism.
